These Terms of Use govern your use of the Plant Amigo app. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Plant Amigoon Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s App Store Terms of Service and these terms.

2. Subscriptions and billing

Plant Amigo is free to use. An optional Premium subscription unlocks unlimited AI photo identification and unlimited Ask AI plant help for $1.99 per month, including a one-week free trial for new subscribers.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase or when the free trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

3. Plant care guidance disclaimer

Plant Amigo provides general plant-care information, schedules, and AI-generated suggestions for convenience. This guidance is not a substitute for professional horticultural advice and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Plant identification and care recommendations are best-effort estimates. You are responsible for the care of your plants, and you should use your own judgment - especially regarding plants that may be toxic to people or pets.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to reverse engineer it, interfere with its security (such as the App Attest verification used to access AI features), or use it in violation of any applicable law.

5. User content

You retain ownership of the photos, notes, and other content you create in Plant Amigo. You are responsible for that content and confirm you have the right to submit it for processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Plant Amigois provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI results will be accurate.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plant Amigo and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or harm to plants, arising from your use of the app.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
